I Love a Parade

A beloved Thorp & CBC tenant, I Love a Parade, was recently interviewed on kare11. I Love a Parade is a non-profit organization employing women who are chronically homeless to create high-quality art from recycled costume materials donated by local theaters and parades.

This is an amazing organization in the NE Minneapolis Arts District that truly makes a difference.

In addition to our already fabulous repertoire of talented artists + creators who will have their studios open for the weekend, we will be hosting a large group show in one of our dramatic warehouse spaces. Bethel University art students will be selling and showcasing their work.

With over 4,800 submissions in four days, MAEP staff and volunteers worked hard to keep the line moving.

Sneak Peak

Celebrate opening night of "Foot in the Door 4", the wildly popular exhibition held every 10 years. Rub elbows with hundreds of Minnesota artists and view thousands of submissions in this stupendous art stampede. Sport your most fab footwear for "Best Shoes in the Door" Flickr gallery.

Sock it to Saint Stephen's sock drive, ideal for warming the hearts and tootsies of kids and adults alike: new socks accepted at the entry.
